Mr, Touchdown is the posthumous overarching antagonist of the No More Heroes series. His actions helped set the stage for several major events throughout the series.

The biological father of Travis and Henry, and the foster father of Jeane, he was secretly a rapist and serial killer who regularly abused his own children mentally, physically, and sexually.

Personality

Despite remembered as a caring, hardworking family man, Mr. Touchdown was actually an abusive, horrible person who had murdered many people in the past and greatly abused his own family so disgustingly that both Henry and Jeane despised their own father. The former escaped his father's insane cruelty but ended up losing his memory and adopted the Cooldown family name in Ireland. The latter desired to become a killer that she trained martial arts so that she could kill her father and his wife because of Mr. Touchdown's being responsible for Jeane's mother death by suicide because of his abandonment and took advantage of his daughter's loneliness to turn her in to his sex slave and resigned Jeane to live in a rotten apartment.

Story

Little is known about Mr. Touchdown's past. According to Henry, Mr. Touchdown was a serial killer who most likely had killed several people over the course of his life.

At some point, Mr. Touchdown would meet and marry a woman and have two children, twin sons Henry and Travis. He would also start a relationship with another woman who already had a daughter named Jeane. After Jeane's mother apparently committed suicide, Mr. Touchdown would offer to take custody of Jeane as his stepdaughter, once the custody came through however, it didn't take long for his true colors to shine through as he would almost immediately begin sexually molesting her all while telling her that he loved her.

He then also began abusing his twin children as well. The abuse was so great that Henry took both Travis and Jeane, and ran away together, but they were caught by adults who altered their memories and separated the siblings, with Henry being adopted into the Cooldown family, and Travis and Jeane returned to their parents.

Mr. Touchdown and his wife would meet their deaths at the hands of Jeane sometime in the future, while Travis watches in horror.

Trivia

  • While the antagonists Travis meets in the games are bloodthirsty, they're all marvelously and grotesquely entertaining. Some of them even come across as sympathetic at times. Mr. Touchdown doesn't even have a connection to any of the UAA assassins; he's just a sick, disgusting bastard.
  • It is heavily speculated that Mr. Touchdown was involved in the kidnapping and memory alteration of his children after they ran away, as both Travis and Jeane were returned to their parents while Henry, being the one who took them both away, was sent away to another family, presumably to prevent them from running away again.
